3 planes, 1 golf buggy and 1 speedboat later and where do
you end up? In complete paradise.
I must say it was extremely surreal going to the Maldives
even once this year so to head back for a second time just seemed like a dream.
Although it was a long travel getting to the beautiful Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa you
can trust me when I say every second was worth it.
The island really is like a little slice of heaven. You feel
so far away from anything and everything that an instant state of relaxation
just seems to come over you. After being greeted by the always friend and accommodating
staff and with our watches set to island time we were whisked away to our own
private beach front villa, which immediately felt like home. The Island is so
peaceful that life seems to slow down and after a lazy afternoon on our private
section of beach and one outdoor shower later we headed off to explore the
hotel which naturally meant we ended up in the bar.
A few cocktails later and after my sister had chatted up almost
all the barmen we headed off to have dinner at the most amazing beach restaurant.
I could definitely get used to eating dinner with my feet in the sand. It was
safe to say I totally embraced island life.
Now words seem useless when a picture can speak a thousand
words so before a ramble on too much you can see for yourself the kind of
paradise I am talking about.
After 4 days of endless cocktails, spa treatments, delicious
food and one snorkelling trip later it was time to leave our little piece of
heaven. It was one of the most magical places I have ever been and is a once in lifetime experience well worth doing!
