I have finally come back down to earth after quite possibly the most amazing trip I have ever been on and so I thought it was time to share my experience with you all. I am sure you will have seen that I have just got back from a week long trip to the Maldives aka complete paradise. It has been a dream destination of mine for as long as I can remember and it certainly did not disappoint. If anything it excelled all my expectations and more.
I was lucky enough to be taken away by the beautiful hotel group, Angsana Hotels. This was such a treat mainly because we got the chance to stay at not only one resort but two different ones so it meant I could experience everything that both the Maldives and Angsana Hotels have to offer. I thought I would start off by sharing with you the first resort that we stayed at, Angsana Ihuru. This is in the North Male Atoll which meant that we had a quick 20 minuet speedboat ride to the resort once we got off the plane. This was ideal for me as a lot of the resorts in the Maldives you have to get a sea plane to, and being a nervous flyer you can imagine how little I wanted to get on one.
We were greeted by some of the friendliest hotel staff I have ever met which instantly made us all feel right at home. One thing we all kept saying was just how lovely the whole "vibe" of this resort was. It was so peaceful and you never felt like you and the other hotel guest were "on top of each other", in fact its was so private you barely saw anyone.
I going to share with you some of the pictures that Angsana Ihuru provided me with as I don't feel my ones do the hotel the justice its deserves whereas these capture it perfectly. Keep your eye on my blog for my next Maldives update but you can see everything the Angsana hotels have to offer on their website: www.angsana.com/en/em-maldives-ihuru
