I wrote this post a few months ago for my blog but I know a lot of you are still really interested in how I edit my Instagram photos so I thought I would re post it for anyone who missed it :)

If I had a pound for every time I was asked how I edit my Instagram pictures I would be a millionaire, so I thought it was about time I got around to doing a post on my holy grail of Instagram photo editing apps!

My number one would have to be VSCO Cam! I can't even explain my love for this app, my life was complete the day I downloaded this (sad I know! #bloggerproblems). The reason I love this app so much is not only for the amount of filters it offers but how subtle they are. My top 3 to use are definitely: 08, A7 and F2
Snapseed is basically photoshop for your phone! I had all my blogger gals obsessing over this when we were in Ibiza and I told them all about it. This app is amazing for altering brightness, highlights, shadows etc but the best thing about it is the selection function. This allows you to choose certain parts of your photos to edit the saturation or brightness. Go have a play, I know you will love it!
Squaready is the app I use to create the white boarders on my Instagram for all of you who have been asking!
This is the newest app that has graced my phone. Instasize is what I use to make rectangle photos square by creating a photo overlay effect. For this you just need to select the photo you want to make square, click on boarders, select 'photo' and then select the same photo.
